Founder and CEO
- Joanna has 5 years of executive management experience overseeing corporate strategic, business model, marketing and sales, and product marketing in StreamOcean. Between Nov 2006 and Oct 2008, she built the StreamOcean’s core technology SOVDN software architecture from scratch. Joanna has 18 years of senior technical experience focusing on software architecture and infrastructure, distributed system, network protocol, data communication, high availability, rich media delivery, diagnostics and embedded system. Prior to founding StreamOcean in November 2006 in Silicon Valley, Joanna spent 10 years at Cisco as a senior designer in Video Content Network Business Unit renovating enterprise content server to service provider CDN, as a principle designer in Internet Operating System Division and Cable Router Business Unit architecting High Availability infrastructure, and as senior diagnostics engineer in Core Business Unit for mid-range and high-end routers. Joanna holds three US patents and several pending patents. She was awarded the Cisco Pioneer Award and three Cisco RAS awards (Reliability, Availability and Serviceability). Joanna holds an MS of Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Missouri at Columbia and a BS of Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in China.
VP of Operation
- Feng has 20 years of corporate management experience both in international and China domestic companies. Since he was on board in September 2010, Feng has been responsible for product management, partnership and supply chain management, support and service management. Feng is also in charge of human resources and office administration from March 2013. Prior to joining StreamOcean, Feng was EVP of Interstellar in charge of sales and marketing. Before Interstellar, Feng was Chief Representative of Paradise Datacom and Radyne in China for more than 9 years, where he was responsible for all strategic sales management and business operation in great China area. Before Chief Rep, he served 3 years in Nortel as a senior account manager. Feng started his career as a system engineer and assistant manager in NEC for three and half years. Feng holds a MBA from City University at Seattle, a MS from Chinese Academy of Sciences and a BS of Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in China.
